The IDRC Research Chair on Forced Displacement in Anglophone West Africa produces policy-relevant research that advances understanding of displacement dynamics across the region. Our publications share findings from interdisciplinary and participatory studies conducted with displaced persons, host communities, and institutional stakeholders in West Africa.
The series includes policy briefs, working papers, and research reports addressing issues such as urban displacement, climate-related mobility, access to education and livelihoods, and governance and protection systems. The aim is to translate research evidence into practical recommendations that support inclusive, rights-based policies and strengthen resilience for displaced populations and host communities.
